The artist’s books published by Ivorypress are not conventional books. They are valuable works of art which are designed and produced by each artist. The materials used are specifically chosen according to the artist’s specifications.

They have been produced to be displayed as works of art. The books are published in numbered limited editions, using techniques ranging from rediscovered Mediaeval processes to the most advanced modern technologies available today.

They are included in the collections of both public and private institutions, and have been displayed as collector’s items in the exhibition Blood on Paper at London’s Victoria & Albert Museum.

This exhibition opened on 1 September 2008 and it includes artist books edited by Ivorypress in collaboration with: Anish Kapoor, Anthony Caro, Cai Guo-Qiang, Eduardo Chillida, Francis Bacon, Isamu Noguchi, Richard Long and Richard Tuttle. This list will continue to grow as new artists create works for Ivorypress. There are guided visits to the permanent exhibition every Wednesday afternoon.
